Tallahassee Police Department Investigator Rick Huffman would later write in his final report on February 24, 1987 that information about The Finders overall lifestyle is difficult to compile. However, Huffman writes that whether or not The Finders lifestyle is appropriate is subjective.  Huffman writes that he observed The Finders six children being brought into the station on February 4, 1987 and that they were dirt, tired, and cranky. Huffman believed that Finders members Douglas Ammerman and Michael Holwell could have provided a better atmosphere for the children and be more open during interviewing by the Tallahassee police. However, Huffman also stated that no information came to him indicating that The Finders lifestyle abuses or neglects their children.[1]
