In my comprehensive reporting on The Finders network, we have finally arrived at THE crucial point. Many have heard different pieces of conspiracy narratives about the network. Chapter four will delve into the Tallahassee Police Department’s Finders investigation and the related news reports, while chapter five will explore the United States Customs Department and Washington D.C. January to February 1987

In his book The Gamecaller, Finders member Tobe Terrell mentions that The Finders and their children were often sent to Florida or California for the winter by The Finders network leader Marion Pettie to stay warm. Some of the cabins and houses in the Free State have wood stoves, but the cold was still too much for them. Terrell also describes the children running around and playing on the cold, almost icy ground in the wilderness without wearing shoes. Terrell mentions that the children hate wearing shoes. In January 1987, Pettie sent The Finders’ children and some of the men in two vans down to Florida after working for Jim Wyker in Berea, Kentucky.[1]
