Upon their return to Washington, D.C., Tobe Terrell, and The Finders members, who had been in Miami, were graced with a brief visit from The Peace Pilgrim (Mildred Norman) at their W Street apartments. The Peace Pilgrim visiting The Finders is yet just another connection of them to the counterculture movement. The Peace Pilgrim, a renowned new-age mystic, was known for her tireless walks across the United States to advocate for world peace. Her life was cut short in a tragic automobile accident on July 7, 1981, adding a poignant note to her life story[1]
