Allegedly, John Cox introduced The Finders to Theodore (Ted) and Ann Reiss, who then became members. Ted Reiss, a computer programmer and web page designer based in Reston, Virginia, was reportedly an active member of Werner Erhard Seminars (EST). Investigative journalist Wendell Minnick wrote that Ted Reiss told him that “the essence of Marion Pettie’s games was to have an interesting, adventurous life.” Minnick also wrote that Ted Reiss was a member of The Finders and worked at the Academic Computer Center at the private Jesuit Georgetown University.[1] [2] [3]
