Tobe Terrell claimed in his book he was just a tourist on his trip to Hong Kong. Terrell stayed in a youth hostel in Kowloon. The Finders Network would eventually own an unknown property as a base in Hong Kong. Terrell visited local tourist sites and sampled various cuisines. Terrell later traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, where a taxi driver took him to a brothel hotel where he allegedly turned down sleeping with a prostitute. Terrell later buys an Aeroflot bargain airplane ticket to Amsterdam, Netherlands, for $180, including a three-day stopover in Moscow, USSR. Terrell visits the Soviet Consulate in Bangkok and obtains a visa for his Moscow layover, though he was an American citizen during the Cold War within one day.[1] [2]
